These terms and conditions contain all the terms of your agreement with us relating to your purchase. No other written or oral statement (including statements in any brochure or promotional literature published by us) will be incorporated.
In the event that any of these terms are determined to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision shall nonetheless be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other remaining terms.
No sale shall be considered concluded until funds have been received by us and cleared by our bank.
In the event of stock not being available, we reserve the right to either fulfill the order with a similar product of equal value or to refund the purchase amount less an administration fee of not more than 10% of the value of the original purchase. In such cases no refunds will be considered until we have had 30 working days to successfully fulfill the order.
All Pricing Excludes VAT, Pricing & Specifications Are Subject To Change Without Prior Notice, Ruling Rate Of Exchange Applies, Errors & Omissions Excepted (E&OE).
Delivery of product:
No product will be dispatched until we have received full and last payment for the products ordered. Once payment has been cleared in our bank account we shall instruct the fulfillment of your order.
Such delivery is dependant on third parties and no representation is made the length of time for an order to be delivered. We expressly deny all responsibility related to the delivery of product and make no assurances of the condition in which the product shall arrive.
Transfer of responsibility:
Responsibility will be transferred from the time and date that the product is dispatched. From the time that the product is in transit all goods will be considered the sole responsibility including insurance for the receiving party.
Transfer of ownership:
Ownership of the product will be passed to the client when all funds have been confirmed cleared by our bank, until then all product remains the property of PC Laptops.
General Terms of warranty:
Except as expressly set forth in this limited warranty, PC Laptops makes no other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. PC Laptops expressly disclaims all warranties not stated within the terms of our limited warranty.
PC Laptops warrants that the hardware product and all internal components of the product that you have purchased from PC Laptops are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use during the limited warranty period. The limited warranty period starts on the date of order and valid for the period relevant to the product purchased.
PC Laptops does not warrant that the operation of this product will be uninterrupted or error free. PC Laptops is not responsible for any loss or damage that occurs, and it is your sole responsibly to ensure the periodic servicing and backup of your product and its data.
This limited warranty does not apply to expendable parts. This limited warranty does not extend to any product from which the serial number has been removed or that has been damaged or rendered defective as a result of (A) accident, misuse, abuse, problems as a result of electrical power or other external causes, (B) by usage outside of normal usage parameters as stated by the respective manufacturer, (C) by service or modification by anyone who is not an authorized agent for the product.
The warranty does not extend to (A) Operating system software, even if preloaded (B) Application software, even if preloaded.
Workshop terms and conditions:
PC Laptops gives free quotations on all repairs, no quote rejection fees are applicable. Please allow on all jobs booked in, 1(one) to 4(four) working days for any feedback or a quotation.
R575.00 incl. VAT priority fee is applicable on all urgent jobs which require a jump to the front of the queue. Repair warranties are immediately void should the product be tampered with in any way or if there are signs of physical damage. No warranties are applicable on software related repairs. PC Laptops will not be held liable for any loss of data. Warranties start on the date of invoice and not on the date of collection. PC Laptops reserve the right to sell any equipment after 90(ninety) days to defray costs.
All used and refurbished equipment is supplied with a 3-6 months warranty on the physical unit, and a 3 day DOA (dead on arrival) warranty on all batteries.
All new equipment is supplied with a one year manufactures warranty unless otherwise stated.
Where stated Manufactures warranty, this will imply that the warranty is held by the respective manufacturer for a period, no more or no less than that which is stated on the original sales invoice and subject to the terms and conditions of the respective manufacturer.
Where stated used/refurbished warranty, this will imply that the warranty is held by PC Laptops and the subject to the following terms:
The limited warranty term will start on the date of the original sales order, as further described in the following text.
This limited warranty does not cover damage due to external causes, as stated in the general terms above. During the warranty period PC Laptops will repair or replace products covered under this limited warranty that are returned to a PC Laptops facility. PC Laptops reserves the right to refund the customer, less costs incurred, for the product should the terms of warranty not be able to be carried out.
PC Laptops owns all parts removed from repaired products. If PC Laptops repairs or replaces a product, its limited warranty term is not extended.
Initiation of a warranty claim:
In the event of a warranty claim where the warranty is a Manufactures warranty, you have the option of submitting your product direct to the manufacturer, or via an accredited agent, or via PC Laptops.
In the event of a warranty claim where the warranty is held by PC Laptops, the product must be returned to a PC Laptops facility or agent for the warranty to be carried out.
You must ship the product(s) to PC Laptops in their original or equivalent packaging, prepay shipping charges, and insure the shipment or accept the risk of loss or damage during shipment. PC Laptops will ship the repaired or replacement products to you at your expense, only if and when all payments have been met.
No assurances are made as to the turn around times in performing a warranty claim. We expressly deny all responsibility related to all claims future and present made as a result of any work been carries our under warranty.
Your warranty claim will only be considered when you produce an original sales invoice. Kindly note that warranties are not transferable.
NOTE: Before you ship the product(s) to PC Laptops, back up the data on the hard-disk drive(s) and any other storage device(s) in the product(s). Remove any removable media, such as diskettes, CDs, or PC Cards. PC Laptops does not accept liability for lost data or software.
Upon dispatch of any product purchased from PC Laptops, the ownership is passed from PC Laptops to the client. All technical responsibilities are transferred with the transfer of ownership.
PC Laptops reserves the right to withhold technical support for any reason whatsoever. PC Laptops reserves the right to withhold services and product as a result of any payment dispute.
Any additional expenses incurred in this process such as travel, freight, third party, etc will be billed out on a cost plus 20% (twenty percent) basis.

Unfortunately levels of fraudulent orders, particularly via the internet, are on the increase. We make every effort to check all orders as thoroughly as possible given the information available so please do not be offended if we have to contact you to make additional security checks after you have placed your order.
Our return policy is only valid in the event of an exchange unless Management decides otherwise and if no other option can be made in certain circumstances and a refund will be considered.
